We’ve been having quiet a lot of small earthquakes around here lately. Some of them you don’t know have happened until you see it on the news. However, Italy felt a gigantic one. A 6.2 mag quake shook Amatrice, Italy. This quake so far has killed at least 120 people and over 300 were injured. Emergency teams are still searching for people under the destroyed city. On BBC news the mayor said at least 3/4 of the city was destroyed.

The death total can still rise up in the next few hours, but we can also have people be found. The city may be in ruins, but the people are coming together. The neighboring cities are also suffering quite a bit with losing loved ones and maybe even pets. Even the great city of Rome felt the quake! As of now, there have been over 200 aftershocks and maybe more to come.
