Hurricane Matthew, a category four hurricane, has hit Haiti, causing dangerous storms and 145 mile winds. The hurricane is thought to head up from Haiti to New York in just a few days. Already in the first few hours it has claimed a few lives already. A man who was ill, and could not get up from bed, was claimed by the powerful waves.

In the past ten years the hurricanes that have hit our country and world have caused a lot of damagem like Katrina and then Andrew a few years ago. The world is preparing for what is to come.
