Oilton’s local livestock show was held last saturday. We had a total of 20 pigs, 10 goats, and 2 head of cattle. Ribbons were awarded to all places and special prizes awarded to first places, and showmanship winners. A few of the showers were not able to show, but their animals were shown by somebody so that we could see how the animals did.

Showmanship winners were awarded an FFA hoodie with their name on it, and first place class winners were given brushes, buckets, and such. All students were required to wear official show ring attire. The concession stand was busy the entire time and the barn was full of joyful people. It was such a good feeling to be able to have a show for the citizens of Oilton to watch what we work so hard to do.
