Do you ever hear someone say they regret getting a tattoo? I have, multiple times. Usually half the time they say it, they wish they hadn’t gotten it because it doesn’t mean anything to them. When you get a tattoo, it’s supposed to mean something to you. You shouldn’t get a tattoo just because it looks cool.

Tattoos that mean something to you can be a lot of things. You can get a tattoo for a person you have lost. For example, my uncle told me that he plans on getting stars or birds for everyone who has died in his family. Another bit of advice is: don’t tattoo names on yourself because you’ll never know who will still be your friend in a few years. If you do plan on getting a tattoo, think about it for awhile and save money for it while thinking about what you want that means something to you.
